Hadith 902
۞
17. The following is narrated in another Hadith: “Someone asked abu ’Abd Allah, ‘Does a person who dies because of being hanged to death, suffer the severe pressure of the grave?’ The Imam said, ‘
The Lord of the earth is also the Lord of the air. Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, inspires the air and it applies a pressure on the deceased which is greater than the pressure in the grave.’”
