1. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan all from Safwan ibn Yahya from ibn Muskan from Ayyub al-Hurr who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about one who dies in a ship in the ocean. He (the Imam) said, ‘The deceased is placed in a vat and with its opening sealed is thrown into the water.’”
