Hadith 748

9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from more than one person of our people who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that a shroud should be cut open from where the head of the deceased is when he is placed in the grave.”
9ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
يُشَقُّ الْكَفَنُ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَأْسِ الْمَيِّتِ إِذَا أُدْخِلَ قَبْرَهُ.
