1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Yahya ibn Zakariya from his father Zakariya ibn Musa from al-Yasa’ ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Qummiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who performs Salah (prayer) for a dead body alone. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, he can do so.’ I then asked, ‘Can two people perform Salah (prayer) for a dead body? He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, but one of them stands behind the other and not on his side.’”
