“I once asked Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), ‘How is it that women during their experiencing Hayd (menses) can pick up things from Masjid, but cannot leave anything therein?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is because such women can leave what is in their hands in other places and cannot take what is there (in the Masjid) except from it (Masjid).”’ (The above Hadith is best explained in the form of fatwa.)
