Hadith 342

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn Ahmad ibn ‘Ushaym from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Nasr who has said the following
“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about the minimum and maximum period of time of Hayd (menses). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is three days and its maximum is not more than ten days.’”
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَشْيَمَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنْ أَدْنَى مَا يَكُونُ مِنَ الْحَيْضِ فَقَالَ ثَلاَثَةٌ وَأَكْثَرُهُ عَشَرَةٌ.
