“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who experiences a wet dream and takes Ghusl (bath) before urinating then something comes out. He (the Imam) said, ‘He must take Ghusl (bath) again.’ I then asked what happens if such thing happens to a woman. He (the Imam) said, ‘She does not need a Ghusl (bath) again.’ I then asked, ‘What is the difference?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘A discharge from a woman is because of man’s discharge.’”
