Hadith 1944

23. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from ibn Jumhur from his father from Ali ibn Hadid from ‘Uthman from ibn Rashid from Ma‘ruf ibn Kharrabuz who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, has joined zakat with Salah (prayer), saying, “Maintain Salah (prayer) and pay zakat.” Thus, if one does not pay zakat, he has not performed Salah (prayer).”’
23ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُمْهُورٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ رُشَيْدٍ عَنْ مَعْرُوفِ بْنِ خَرَّبُوذَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَرَنَ الزَّكَاةَ بِالصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ أَقِيمُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكاةَ فَمَنْ أَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ وَلَمْ يُؤْتِ الزَّكَاةَ لَمْ يُقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ.
