Hadith 1762

27. It is a narration from him (narrator of previous Hadith) by Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from al-Hajjal from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Walid al- Kindiy from ’Isma‘il ibn Jabir or ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘I get up in the end of the night and I fear (of the coming of dawn before completing).’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Recite just al-Fatihah, and make it faster and faster.’”
27ـ وَعَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ أَوْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) إِنِّي أَقُومُ آخِرَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَخَافُ الصُّبْحَ قَالَ اقْرَأِ الْحَمْدَ وَاعْجَلْ وَاعْجَلْ.
