7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from Jamil from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘There must be a distance of three miles between two congregations for Friday Salah (prayer). Friday Salah (prayer) without sermon is not valid. If there is a distance of three miles between two congregation for Friday Salah (prayer), then each congregation can come together (for Friday Salah (prayer)).”’
7ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ جَمِيلٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
يَكُونُ بَيْنَ الْجَمَاعَتَيْنِ ثَلاَثَةُ أَمْيَالٍ يَعْنِي لاَ يَكُونُ جُمُعَةٌ إِلاَّ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ ثَلاَثَةِ أَمْيَالٍ وَلَيْسَ تَكُونُ جُمُعَةٌ إِلاَّ بِخُطْبَةٍ قَالَ فَإِذَا كَانَ بَيْنَ الْجَمَاعَتَيْنِ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ ثَلاَثَةُ أَمْيَالٍ فَلاَ بَأْسَ بِأَنْ يُجَمِّعَ هَؤُلاَءِ وَيُجَمِّعَ هَؤُلاَءِ.
