“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the case of a Masjid which is in a house and the people of the house want to expand it to a certain extent or relocate it in another place. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’ He (the narrator) has said that he then asked him (the Imam) about a place which is filthy, then it is cleansed and is made a Masjid. He (the Imam) said, ‘Soil is poured on it until it is covered; it is cleaner.’”
