Hadith 1288

2. Ahmad has narrated from al-Husayn from ibn abu Najran from Safwan al-Jammal who has said the following
“Whenever I performed Salah (prayer) led by abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), I found him (the Imam) say Qunut (supplication after recitation in second Rak‘at) in every Salah (prayer); those which are said aloud as well as those said silently.”
2ـ أَحْمَدُ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ الْجَمَّالِ قَالَ
صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) أَيَّاماً فَكَانَ يَقْنُتُ فِي كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ يَجْهَرُ فِيهَا وَلاَ يَجْهَرُ فِيهَا.
