Hadith 1253
۞
10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Ghiyath ibn Ibrahim who has said the following: “Ja’far (a.s.), has narrated from his father from Ali (a.s.), who have said, ‘
One must not perform Sajdah (prostration) on an item on which none of the parts of his body rests.’” (According to Arabic footnote this Hadith is because of Taqiyah)
