۞
3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Ubayd ibn Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who has heard Sajdah (prostration) is read. He (the Imam) said, ‘He is not required to perform Sajdah (prostration) unless he is quiet and listening to the reading or performs Salah (prayer) with his Salah (prayer) (he reader of the Chapter with Sajdah (prostration) being the Imam). If one reads Sajdah (prostration) when performing Salah (prayer) in one side and you are performing Salah (prayer) in another side, you do not do Sajdah (prostration) even on hearing such reading.’”
