Hadith 912
۞
12. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Safwan from Mu’awiyah ibn ‘Ammar from Najiyah who has said the following
“Once I said to Abu Ja’far (a.s.) ‘Al-Mughirah says, ‘A believer does not suffer from leprosy, bars (a form of leprosy) or so and so.’” The Imam said, ‘He must be unaware of Sahib Yasin (the man mentioned in (36:20)) whose hand was paralyzed - the Imam let his fingers hanging - and said, “It is as if I look at his paralysis. He came to the people, warning them against disbelief and the next day he was murdered.” The Imam then said, ‘A believer may suffer any form of misfortune and die by any form of death but does not commit suicide.’”
