“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) once asked me, ‘Does your brother (in belief) come to you, stretch his hand in your pocket and take what he needs and you do not push him aside?’ I said, ‘I do not know that such things happen among us.’ Abu Ja’far (a.s.) then said, ‘There is nothing then.’ I said, ‘It is destruction then.’ The Imam said, ‘The people have not yet recieved their power of reason.’”
