Hadith 362

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Nasr from Muhammad ibn ‘Ubayd Allah who has said the following
“I heard al-Rida (a.s.) saying, ‘A man cannot become a worshipper until he becomes a forbearing one. A man in the tribe of Israel wanting to become a worshipper had to keep silent for ten years before he could be considered a worshipper.’”
1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ الله قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَا (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ لا يَكُونُ الرَّجُلُ عَابِداً حَتَّى يَكُونَ حَلِيماً وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ كَانَ إِذَا تَعَبَّدَ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَمْ يُعَدَّ عَابِداً حَتَّى يَصْمُتَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ.
