I heard my father saying, ‘Mas’adah ibn al-Yasa’ who has said the following: “Once I said to abu Ja’far (a.s.) ‘By Allah, I love you.’ Abu Ja’far (a.s.) looked down for a short while then he raised his head and said, ‘O abu Bishr you have spoken the truth. Ask your heart about what my heart has of your love. My heart has informed me about what your heart has for me.’”
