Hadith 1986

6. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban from ‘Isa ibn ‘Abd Allah al- Qummi from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
"Say, ‘O Lord, I plead before You through Your Glory, Beauty and Magnanimity to provide me such and such help,’ one should mention one’s wishes.”
6 - عَنْهُ، عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ أَبَانٍ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْقُمِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عليه السلام) قَالَ
قُلِ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِجَلَالِكَ وَجَمَالِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ أَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِي كَذَا وَكَذَا ".
