۞
1. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from al-Mufaddal al-Ju’fl who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Sorrow, regret and lamentation strikes one who does not benefit from what he sees and does not know upon what ground is he standing; is it beneficial for him or harmful?’ I (the narrator) then asked, ‘May Allah keep my soul in service for your cause, by what means are the ones who have found salvation recognized?’ The Imam said, ‘One whose acts agree with his words, testimony for his salvation holds true and one whose deeds do not agree with his words, his belief is transient. ’”
1ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ الْجُعْفِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) إِنَّ الْحَسْرَةَ وَالنَّدَامَةَ وَالْوَيْلَ كُلَّهُ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَنْتَفِعْ بِمَا أَبْصَرَهُ وَلَمْ يَدْرِ مَا الأمْرُ الَّذِي هُوَ عَلَيْهِ مُقِيمٌ أَ نَفْعٌ لَهُ أَمْ ضَرٌّ قُلْتُ لَهُ فَبِمَ يُعْرَفُ النَّاجِي مِنْ هَؤُلاءِ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ قَالَ مَنْ كَانَ فِعْلُهُ لِقَوْلِهِ مُوَافِقاً فَأُثْبِتَ لَهُ الشَّهَادَةُ بِالنَّجَاةِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِعْلُهُ لِقَوْلِهِ مُوَافِقاً فَإِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ مُسْتَوْدَعٌ.
