3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from Ali ibn al-Hakam from ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr from Zurara from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘A servant (of Allah) is closest to disbelief when he assumes brotherhood (in belief) with a man and then begins to count his mistakes and slips so he can one day use them against him.’”
