Hadith 1245

17. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Nasr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from al-Hassan al-Sayqal who has said the following
“Once I said to Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘We narrate it from abu Ja’far (a.s.) about the words of Yusuf, “O people of the camels, you are thieves.” (12:70) The Imam said, ‘By Allah, they did not steal and he did not lie.’
17ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّيْقَلِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) إِنَّا قَدْ رُوِّينَا عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِ يُوسُفَ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) أَيَّتُهَا الْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسارِقُونَ فَقَالَ وَالله مَا سَرَقُوا وَمَا كَذَبَ وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) بَلْ فَعَلَهُ كَبِيرُهُمْ هذا فَسْئَلُوهُمْ إِنْ كانُوا يَنْطِقُونَ فَقَالَ وَالله مَا فَعَلُوا وَمَا كَذَبَ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) مَا عِنْدَكُمْ فِيهَا يَا صَيْقَلُ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ مَا عِنْدَنَا فِيهَا إِلا التَّسْلِيمُ قَالَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الله أَحَبَّ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَبْغَضَ اثْنَيْنِ أَحَبَّ الْخَطَرَ فِيمَا بَيْنَ الصَّفَّيْنِ وَأَحَبَّ الْكَذِبَ فِي الإصْلاحِ وَأَبْغَضَ الْخَطَرَ فِي الطُّرُقَاتِ وَأَبْغَضَ الْكَذِبَ فِي غَيْرِ الإصْلاحِ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) إِنَّمَا قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُ كَبِيرُهُمْ هذا إِرَادَةَ الإصْلاحِ وَدَلالَةً عَلَى أَنَّهُمْ لا يَفْعَلُونَ وَقَالَ يُوسُفُ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) إِرَادَةَ الإصْلاحِ.
