Hadith 1160

5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid from Yahya ibn ‘Amr from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, sent revelations to one of His prophets and it said, ‘Bad and evil behavior spoils good deeds just as vinegar spoils honey.’”
5ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) أَوْحَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى بَعْضِ أَنْبِيَائِهِ الْخُلُقُ السَّيِّئُ يُفْسِدُ الْعَمَلَ كَمَا يُفْسِدُ الْخَلُّ الْعَسَلَ.
