Hadith 419

Muhammad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from al-Husayn ibn Zayd from Durust ibn abu Mansur from whoever he narrated from, from abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.), who said
“There are six things in which the people have no doing. They are knowing, ignorance, contentment, anger, sleeping and waking up.”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ بْنِ أَبِي مَنْصُورٍ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سِتَّةُ أَشْيَاءَ لَيْسَ لِلْعِبَادِ فِيهَا صُنْعٌ الْمَعْرِفَةُ وَالْجَهْلُ وَالرِّضَا وَالْغَضَبُ وَالنَّوْمُ وَالْيَقَظَةُ.
