19. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Yahya ibn al-Mubarak from ‘Abdallah ibn Jubla from ibn Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar that Abu ‘Abdillah (al-Sadiq) (as) was asked
‘May I be your ransom, I have a neighbor who does a lot of salaat, gives a lot in charity and very often does hajj and there is no flaw with him.’ He asked, 'O Ibn Ishaq how is his intelligence?'. I then said, 'May I be your ransom, he does not have any intelligence'. So he said, 'Nothing from what he does will be raised up (to heavens).'
