Al-Kāfi
Hadith 1200 20ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) إِذَا رُئِيَ فِي اللَّيْلَةِ الظَّلْمَاءِ رُئِيَ لَهُ نُورٌ كَأَنَّهُ شِقَّةُ قَمَرٍ.
20. A number of our people narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Ibn Muskan from Isma‘il ibn ‘Ammar from Abu ‘Abdallah (AS) who has said the following: “If one looked at the Messenger of Allah in the dark night he could see a light like that from the moon radiating from him.”
