Hadith 1117

36. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn al-Husayn ibn ‘Umar ibn Yazid from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from Muhammad ibn Sinan from al-Mufaddal ibn ‘Umar who has said the following.
“I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most High. “. . those who do not wish to meet Us in the life hereafter, say, “Bring us another book besides this one or change it.. .” (10:15) The Imam (a.s.) said, “They said, ‘Change Ali (a.s.).”
36ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُمْهُورٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ قَوْلِ الله تَعَالَى ائْتِ بِقُرْآنٍ غَيْرِ هذا أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ قَالَ قَالُوا أَوْ بَدِّلْ عَلِيّاً (عَلَيْهم السَّلام )
