Hadith 918
۞
Ahmad b. `Ali b. Ibrahim b. Hashim (ra) narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from his father from Muhammad b. `Ali al-Tamimi. He said: My master `Ali b. Musa al-Rida narrated to me from his father from his forefathers (as) from the Prophet (s). He said
Whoever would be gladdened by seeing the red pole planted by Allah by His hand, and be of those who grasp onto it, should align with `Ali and the Imams from his descendants, for they are the choicest of Allah and His elite ones. They are immaculate (ma`sum) from every sin and error.
27 - حدثنا أحمد بن علي بن إبراهيم بن هاشم (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا أبي، عن أبيه، عن محمد بن علي التميمي، قال: حدثني سيدي علي بن موسى الرضا، عن أبيه، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، عن النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله)
أنه قال: من سره أن ينظر إلى القضيب الاحمر الذي غرسه الله بيده، ويكون متمسكا به، فليتول عليا والائمة من ولده، فإنهم خيرة الله عز وجل وصفوته، وهم المعصومون من كل ذنب وخطيئة (2).
