Hadith 915
۞
`Ali b. al-Husayn b. Shadhuwayh (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Abdullah b. Ja`far al-Himyari narrated to us from his father from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from al-`Abbas b. Ma`ruf from `Ali b. al-Hakam from Mundal b. `Ali al-`Anzi from Muhammad b. Mutraf from Masma` from al-Asbagh b. Nubata from `Ali (as). He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: When Allah is angry with a nation and does not descend chastisement upon it, its prices increase, its life will be shortened, its merchants will not make a profit, its fruits will not ripen, its rivers will not be bounteous, its rain will be upheld from it, and its evil people will rule over it.
24 - حدثنا علي بن الحسين بن شاذويه (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا محمد ابن عبد الله بن جعفر الحميري، عن أبيه، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن العباس ابن معروف، عن علي بن الحكم، عن مندل بن علي العنزي، عن محمد بن مطرف، عن مسمع، عن الاصبغ بن نباتة، عن علي (عليه السلام)، قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): إذا غضب الله تبارك وتعالى على امة ولم ينزل بها العذاب، غلت أسعارها، وقصرت أعمارها، ولم يربح تجارها، ولم تزك ثمارها، ولم تغزر أنهارها، وحبس عنها أمطارها، وسلط عليها شرارها (2).
