Muhammad b. `Ali Majiluwayh (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us from al-Hasan b. al-Husayn b. Aban from Muhammad b. Awrama from `Amr b. `Uthman al-Khazzaz from `Amr b. Shimr from Jabir b. Yazid al-Ju`fi from Abi Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali al-Baqir (as). He said
Musa b. `Imran said: O Lord! Admonish me. He said: I admonish you of [your duty to] Me. So, he said: O Lord! Admonish me. He said: I admonish you of Me – three times. He said: O Lord! Admonish me. He said: I admonish you of your mother. He said: O Lord! Admonish me. He said: I admonish you of your mother. He said: O Lord! Admonish me. He said: I admonish you of your father. He said: He said, to that ends, that one third of righteousness is for the mother, and one third of righteousness is for the father.
