Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (ra) narrated to us. He said: My father (rh) narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Husayn b. Abi’l Khattab narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Asbat narrated to us. He said
I heard `Ali b. Musa al-Rida (as) narrate from his father from his forefathers (as) that the Messenger of Allah (s) said: None of the proverbs of the prophets remain except the saying of the people: “If you feel no shame, then do what you wish.”

سمعت علي بن موسى الرضا (عليه السلام) يحدث عن أبيه عن آبائه (عليهم السلام) أن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) قال: لم يبق من أمثال الانبياء إلا قول الناس: إذا لم تستحي فاصنع ما شئت (1).
