Hadith 798

Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (ra) narrated to us. He said: My father (ra) narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa narrated to us from his father from `Abdullah b. al-Mughira from Talha b. Zayd from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). He said
`Isa b. Maryam (as) passed by a people who were weeping. So, he said: What are these people weeping over? So, it was said: They are weeping over their sins. He said: Then, they should abandon them, and they will be forgiven.

مر عيسى بن مريم (عليه السلام) على قوم يبكون، فقال: على ما يبكي هؤلاء؟ فقيل: يبكون على ذنوبهم. قال: فليدعوها يغفر لهم (1).
