Hadith 76
۞
Muhammad b. `Ali (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim narrated to us from Muhammad b. `Isa from Mansur from Hisham b. Salim from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). He said
No reward will follow a man after his death except in three things: (1) A continuous deed (sadaqa jariya) that he had established in his life that continues after his death. (2) A tradition of guidance that continues after his death. (3) A righteous child that seeks repentance for him.
7 - حدثنا محمد بن علي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم، عن محمد ابن عيسى، عن منصور، عن هشام بن سالم، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليهما السلام)، قال
ليس يتبع الرجل بعد موته من الاجر إلا ثلاث خصال: صدقة أجراها في حياته فهي تجري بعد موته، وسنة هدى سنها، فهي يعمل بها بعد موته، وولد صالح يستغفر له (2).
