Hadith 758

Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (ra) narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. `Alawiyya narrated to us from Ibrahim b. Muhammad. He said: Al-Mas`udi narrated to us. He said: Ali b. al-Qasim al-Kindi narrated to us from Sa`d b. Talib from `Uthman b. al-Qasim al-Ansari from Zayd b. Arqam. He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Shall I not guide you to that by which, if you follow it, you will not be destroyed or misguided? They said: Of course, O Messenger of Allah. He said: Surely, your Imam and your wali is `Ali b. Abi Talib. So, consult him, refer to him, and believe in him, for Gabriel commanded me of this.
22 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن علوية، عن إبراهيم بن محمد، قال: حدثنا المسعودي، قال: حدثنا علي بن القاسم الكندي، عن سعد بن طالب، عن عثمان بن القاسم الانصاري، عن زيد بن أرقم، قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): ألا أدلكم على ما إن استدللتم به لن تهلكوا ولن تضلوا؟ قالوا: بلى، يا رسول الله. قال: إن إمامكم ووليكم علي بن أبي طالب، فوازروه وناصحوه وصدقوه، فإن جبرئيل أمرني بذلك (1).
