Hadith 749

Ali b. Ahmad b. `Abdullah al-Barqi (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father narratred to us from Ahmad b. Abi `Abdillah from Muhammad b. `Isa b. `Ubayd from Abi Muhammad al-Ansari from another person from Abi Ja`far al-Baqir (as). He said
Whoever awakes and finds the coolness of our love upon his heart should praise Allah for the beginning of blessing. It was said: What is the beginning of blessing? So, he said: A pure birth.

من أصبح يجد برد حبنا على قلبه، فليحمد الله على بادئ النعم. قيل: وما بادئ النعم؟ فقال: طيب المولد (2).
