Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (narrated to us. He said: My father (ra) narrated to me. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from al-Hasan b. Mahbub from `Abdullah b. Sinan from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). He said
A man’s supplication for his brother when he is away from him generates sustenance (rizq) and repels hateful things.
