Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (rh) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us from Muhammad b. `Isa b. `Ubayd from `Ubaydullah b. `Abdullah al-Dahqan from Darast b. Abi Mansur from `Abdullah b. Sinan. He said
Al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as) said: Do not use basil twigs nor pomegranate twigs as toothpicks, for they irritate the vein of leprosy.
2 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الصفار، عن محمد بن عيسى بن عبيد، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله الدهقان، عن درست بن أبي منصور، عن عبد الله بن سنان، قال
قال الصادق جعفر ابن محمد (عليهما السلام): لا تتخللوا بعود الريحان، ولا بقضيب الرمان، فإنهما يهيجان عرق الجذام (2).
