Hadith 610

Al-Husayn b. Ahmad b. Idris (ra) narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to me. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid narrated to me from his father from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from `Abdullah b. al-Hasan b. al-Hasan b. `Ali from his father from his grandfather. He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever blesses Muhammad and his family, Allah says: “Allah blesses you”; so, he should increase in [saying] that. Whoever says: “may Allah bless Muhammad” and does not bless his family will not find the fragrance of Paradise; and its fragrance could be found at the travel distance of five hundred years away.

قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من قال: صلى الله على محمد وآله، قال الله جل جلاله: صلى الله عليك، فليكثر من ذلك. ومن قال: صلى الله على محمد، ولم يصل على آله، لم يجد ريح الجنة، وريحها توجد من مسيرة خمسمائة عام (2).
