Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. Ja`far al-Himyari narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Husayn b. Abi’l Khattab narrated to me. He said: Al-Hasan b. Mahbub narrated to us. He said
Mu`awiya b. Wahb narrated to us. He said: I heard Aba `Abdillah al-Sadiq (as) say: Seek knowledge and adorn it with forbearance and piety. Humble yourself to the one you are teaching knowledge to and humble yourself to the one you sought for knowledge. Do not be tyrannical scholars lest your faults wash away your truth.
