Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar (ra) narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us. He said: Ibrahim b. Hashim narrated to us from `Ali b. Mu`abbad from al-Husayn b. Khalid from Abi’l Hasan `Ali b. Musa al-Rida (as). A man visited him and said to him
O son of the Messenger of Allah! What is the proof that the world is created? He said: You were naught and then you became. You know that you did not form yourself, nor were you formed by one like you.
