Hadith 548

Muhammad b. al-Hasan (ra) narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Idris narrated to us from Muhammad b. Ahmad b. Yahya b. `Imran al-Ash`ari. He said: Musa b. `Umar al-Baghdadi narrated to us from Ibn Sinan from `Awn b. Ma`in the seller of hats from `Abdullah b. Abi Ya`fur. He said
I heard al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as) say: Whoever meets the people with a face but has another face when he is away from them, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with two tongues of fire.
19 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن (رضي الله عنه) قال: حدثنا أحمد بن إدريس، عن محمد بن أحمد بن يحيى بن عمران الاشعري، قال: حدثنا موسى بن عمر (5) البغدادي، عن ابن سنان، عن عون بن معين بياع القلانس، عن عبد الله بن أبي يعفور، قال
سمعت الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليهما السلام) يقول: من لقي الناس بوجه وعابهم بوجه، جاء يوم القيامة وله لسانان من نار (1).
