Hadith 544
۞
My father (ra) narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us from Ya`qub b. Yazid from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from Hamza b. Humran from Humran b. A`yan from Abi Hamza al-Thumali from `Ali b. al-Husayn (as). He said
Salman al-Farisi (rh) said: One day, I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah (s) when `Ali b. Abi Talib (as) came forward. So, he said to him: O `Ali! Shall I not give you glad tidings? He said: Of course, O Messenger of Allah. He said: My beloved Gabriel informs me from Allah that He has given your lovers and your Shi`a seven characteristics: gentleness at death, harmony in the solitude [of the grave], light in the darkness [of the grave], security at the shock [of the Resurrection], rightly justice at the Scale, a permit on the Path, and entry into Paradise eighty years before the rest of the people of the nations.

قال سلمان الفارسي (رحمه الله): كنت ذات يوم جالسا عند رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله)، إذ أقبل علي بن أبي طالب (عليه السلام) فقال له: يا علي، ألا أبشرك؟ قال: بلى يا رسول الله قال: هذا حبيبي جبرئيل يخبرني عن الله جل جلاله أنه قد أعطى محبيك وشيعتك سبع خصال: الرفق عند الموت، والانس عند الوحشة، والنور عند الظلمة، والامن عند الفزع، والقسط عند الميزان والجواز على الصراط، ودخول الجنة قبل سائر الناس من الامم بثمانين عاما (1).
