Hadith 53
۞
Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father (rh) narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Idris narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Isa b. `Ubayd narrated to us from Yunus b. `Abd al-Rahman from `Abdullah b. al-Fadl al-Hashimi from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). He said
Fasting in Sha`ban is a depository for the worshiper on the Day of Resurrection. There is no worshiper who increases his fasting in Sha`ban except that Allah rectifies the affairs of his livelihood and suffices him from the evil of his enemies. The minimum [reward] for one who fasts a day in Sha`ban is that Paradise will become obligatory for him.

صيام شعبان ذخر للعبد يوم القيامة، وما من عبد يكثر الصيام في شعبان إلا أصلح الله له أمر معيشته، وكفاه شر عدوه، وإن أدنى ما يكون لمن يصوم يوما من شعبان أن تجب له الجنة (1).
