Hadith 310

My father (ra) narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. Ja`far al-Himyari narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from al-Hasan b. Mahbub from Jamil b. Salih from al-Harith b. al-Mughira al-Nasri from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq (as). He said
Whoever hears the mu’adhin say “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” and says, in confirmation and expectation, “And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, it will be sufficient for him against all who reject and deny, and it will assist anyone who believes and testifies to it. He will receive a reward for every person who rejects, denies, believes, and testifies.
2 - حدثنا أبي (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن جعفر الحميري، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن جميل بن صالح، عن الحارث بن المغيرة النصري، عن أبي عبد الله الصادق (عليه السلام)، قال
من سمع المؤذن يقول: أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأشهد أن محمدا رسول الله، فقال: مصدقا محتسبا: وأنا أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأن محمدا رسول الله، اكتفي بها عن كل من أبى وجحد، وأعين بها كل من أقر وشهد، كان له من الاجر عدد من أنكر وجحد، وعدد من أقر وشهد (1).
