Hadith 283

Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (rh) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Abi’l Qasim narrated to us from Muhammad b. `Ali al-Qurashi from Muhammad b. Sinan from al-Mufaddal b. `Umar from Yunus b. Thibyan from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). He said
Musa b. `Imran was speaking to his Lord when he saw a man in the shade beneath the Throne of Allah. So, he said: O Lord! Who is this that is shaded by Your Throne? So, He said: He was good to his parents, and he would not spread gossip.

بينا موسى بن عمران (عليه السلام) يناجي ربه عز وجل إذ رأى رجلا تحت ظل عرش الله عز وجل، فقال: يا رب، من هذا الذي قد أظله عرشك؟ فقال: هذا كان بار بوالديه، ولم يمش بالنميمة (1).
