Hadith 248
۞
Ahmad b. al-Hasan al-Qittan narrated to us. He said: al-Hasan b. `Ali al-Sikri narrated to us from Muhammad b. Zakariyya al-Jawhari. He said: Ibn `A’isha and al-Hakam and al-`Abbas narrated to us. They said: Mahdi b. Maymun narrated to us from Muhammad b. `Abdullah b. Abu Ya`qub from Ibn Abi Ni`am. He said
I was present at Ibn `Umar’s and a man came to him. He asked him about the blood of the mosquito. So, he said: Where are you from? He said: From the people of `Iraq. He said: Look at this; he asks me about the blood of the mosquito while they have killed the son of the Messenger of Allah (s), and I have heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: Surely they are my two sweet basils from this world, meaning al-Hasan and al-Husayn (as).
228 / 12 - حدثنا أحمد بن الحسن القطان، قال: حدثنا الحسن بن علي السكري، عن محمد بن زكريا الجوهري، قال: حدثنا ابن عائشة والحكم والعباس، قالوا: حدثنا مهدي بن ميمون، عن محمد بن عبد الله بن أبي يعقوب، عن ابن أبي نعم (2) قال
شهدت ابن عمر وأتاه رجل فسأله عن دم البعوضة، فقال: ممن أنت؟ قال: من أهل العراق. قال: أنظروا إلى هذا يسألني عن دم البعوضة، وقد قتلوا ابن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله)! وسمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: إنهما ريحانتي من الدنيا، يعني الحسن والحسين (عليهما السلام) (3).
