Hadith 13
۞
Al-Husayn b. Ahmad b. Idris (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from Muhammad b. al-Husayn b. Abi’l Khattab and Ya`qub b. Yazid and Muhammad b. Abi’l Suhban altogether from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from Aban b. `Uthman from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his grandfather (as). He said
A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (s), so he came out to him in a cloak dyed in a reddish musk. So, he said: O Muhammad! You have come out to me as though you are a young man! So, he (s) said: Yes, Bedouin. I am a young man, son of a young man, brother of a young man. So, he said: O Muhammad! As for being a young man, then yes; but how are you the son of a young man and brother of a young man? So, he (s) said: Have you not heard the saying of Allah, “They said: we heard a young man named Ibrahim mentioned them” (21:60)? Surely, I am the son of Ibrahim. As for the brother of a young man: on the day of Uhud, a caller called from heaven: “There is no sword except dhulfiqar and there is no young man except `Ali.” `Ali is my brother, and I am his brother.
13 - حدثنا الحسين بن أحمد بن إدريس (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا أبي، عن محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب ويعقوب بن يزيد ومحمد بن أبي الصهبان، جميعا، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عن أبان بن عثمان، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن جده (عليهم السلام)، قال
إن أعرابيا أتى رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله)، فخرج إليه في رداء ممشق (1)، فقال: يا محمد، لقد خرجت إلي كأنك فتى! فقال (صلى الله عليه وآله): نعم يا أعرابي، أنا الفتى بن الفتى أخو الفتى. فقال: يا محمد، أما الفتى فنعم، فكيف ابن الفتى، وأخو الفتى؟ فقال (صلى الله عليه وآله): أما سمعت الله عز وجل يقول: (قالوا سمعنا فتى يذكرهم يقال له إبراهيم) (2) فأنا ابن إبراهيم، وأما أخو الفتى فإن مناديا نادى من السماء يوم أحد: لا سيف إلا ذو الفقار، ولا فتى إلا علي، فعلي أخي وأنا أخوه (3).
