Hadith 1033
۞
Fasting is not permissible during the days of tashriq, for they are days of eating, drinking, and bathing. The sunna is to break your fast on the [Eid] day of sacrifice after coming back from prayer; and before going out to pray on [Eid] al-Fitr. Takbir [is recommended] in the days of tashriq after fifteen prayers, from Thuhr on the day of sacrifice to [Fajr] on the fourth day; and after ten prayers in other cities, from Thuhr on the day of sacrifice to [Fajr] on the third day.
