9. He said: Abul Hasan Muhammad B. Ja’far ibn Muhammad al-Kufi al-Nahwi al-Tamimi reported to me from Hisham ibn Yunus al-Nahshali, who reported to me from Yahya ibn Ya’la, from Hameed al-A’raj, from Abdullah ibn al-Harith, from Abdullah ibn Masood that
The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "I am surprised at the heedless person who is not without survelance; I am surprised at the one chasing the world, while death chases him; I am surprised at a person having a loud, hearty laugh, while he does not know whether Allah is pleased with him or is displeased."
9 - قال: أخبرني أبو الحسن محمد بن جعفر بن محمد الكوفي النحوي التميمي قال: حدثنا هشام بن يونس النهشلي : قال: حدثنا يحيى بن يعلى، عن حميد الأعرج ، عن عبد الله بن الحارث، عن عبد الله بن مسعود قال
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: عجب لغافل وليس بمغفول عنه، وعجب لطالب الدنيا والموت تطلبه، وعجب لضاحك ملء فيه، وهو لا يدري أرضي الله [عنه] أم سخط له.
