39. And with the foregoing chain of narration from ‘Ali ibn Mahzyar, raising it up to Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, who said: Amirul Mu’mineen, ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him, used to say: "Always consider that which is distant as quite near and that which is difficult as very easy. And, know that, even if a slave of Allah is weak in his strategy and having failing in his plans, it will not reduce anything from what Allah has destined for him. And if he is powerful in his strategy and forceful in his plan, it will not increase anything in what Allah has destined for him."
39 - وبالإسناد الأول عن علي بن مهزيار رفعه إلى أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال
كان أمير المؤمنين صلوات الله عليه يقول: قربوا على أنفسكم البعيد، وهونوا عليها الشديد، واعلموا أن عبدا وإن ضعفت حيلته، ووهنت مكيدته إنه لن ينقص مما قدر الله له، وإن قوي في شدة الحيلة، وقوة المكيدة إنه لن يزاد على ما قدر الله له.
